 So you want to know about the A boys?? Well take a seat, order some coffee, and wait a hour for it because the service is just like the business, slow. But while you wait on your watered down to perfection coffee, sit back and relax as I fill you in on all the jazz about the funky monkey, in your face with no disgrace band, known as Audio Adrenaline. Did you know they werent always known as Audio Adrenaline? Yep, its true!! Before there ever was the awesome rock band Audio Adrenaline, there was a small town band known simply as "A-180". This was long before Tyler and Ben ever hit the scene, the original members of this band were Mark Stuart, David Stuart, Barry Blair, Will McGinniss, and Rob Gibson..............<<<<wonder if that gibson guy had anything to do with the guitar, that was a joke....feel free to laugh.....ok, your not laughing......umm back to the story!
Well, it all went down at a Kentucky Christian College, the new band "A-180" quickly made a name for themselves all across the.....no not world, town! People knew them locally around there as a "old-school Christian rock band". The band was getting booked almost every weekend at the college. They even recorded two albums while attending the college.......it even went gold, ok ok...im joking, it didnt go gold but im sure with a can of spray paint anything is possible.....right right, back to the story.
Later on that cool cat known as Bob Herdman came along and showed the band a few songs he had written, which were "My God" and "DC-10". He asked them to write the music for the songs. Before ya knew it, badda bing badda boom!! They recorded the songs and the song "My God" got the attention of ForeFront Records. Well, based on that one song alone they got a record deal with ForeFront.........but in order to sighn with ForeFront they had to change their band name to Audio Adrenaline......they also had to change their names....government stuff......ok, ok, they didnt have to change their names but they did have to change the band name from "A-180" to "Audio Adrenaline".
The band took the deal 3 months later, and the good ol fellow Bob joined and Mark's brother, David, left to focus on his family. So after that old jed said "move away from there" so they loaded up their bags and moved to beverly!!.....ok, not exactly beverly.......but Nashville, YEE HAW!! The little band that started at a college, doing shows there on the weekand, was now a sighned band Known as Audio Adrenaline. After much success and many hit songs, one of the founding members of the band,(Bob Herdman) left to fulfill his vison with the record company that members Mark Stuart, himself, and Will Mcginniss officially established on January 1st, 2000, called FlickerRecords. He still remains a founding member and a writer of the group, he will always be missed by fans and all of us here at Java the Hut.
Well, the year is now 2003 and as their latest song off the rocking album "Worldwide" says, "Its been 12 years and the bus is still rolling". Yes it is my friends, even though some band members have come and gone since the beggining, we hope the bus will continue to roll for many more years! Tyler Burkum came to be the guitarist for the band ever since the Underdog album and Ben Cissell came in on the Some Kind Of Zombie album.
